1. Before buying equipment, you must have a certain understanding of the equipment. Some manufacturers quote very cheaply, but whether the material and type used are suitable for their own chicken farm is worth considering. For example, there are three forms of automatic feeding lines for chicken farms: stainless steel chains, wire rope nylon scraper chains, and auger chains. Stainless steel chain is easy to break, has been gradually eliminated; auger chain is cheap as a whole, but can only be used for chicken coop below 50 square meters, otherwise the strip is easy to break and lead to insufficient feeding; wire rope nylon chain is the most commonly used one at present, and has been well revived.
2. Be clear about the actual situation of your chicken farm and understand whether the equipment is suitable for use. Some equipment manufacturers do not consider the actual situation and will sell some inappropriate equipment.
3. Understand the characteristics of the equipment and the basic planning of the chicken house. Some equipment manufacturers do not consider the cost of chicken farms for the purpose of selling more products. For example: automatic feed line, if some chicken coop spacing is relatively short, feed the same feed, can use a feed line for two houses; chicken coop with large spacing, if conditions permit, can also use the method of combining the auger feed line and the race plate material line, so as to avoid the problem that the chicken farm must use two feed lines; nursery chickens or fattening chickens, if the number of feeding in each circle is not much, you can use a set of wet and dry feeders in two circles, so that you can also ensure the feeding amount of chicks and save costs.
4. Shop around. Let as many equipment manufacturers as possible to quote and compare. Of course, when comparing, you can't just compare prices, but also have a comprehensive understanding. For example: the material of the equipment, the strength of the equipment manufacturer, what customers have done, the situation reflected by customers, how about after-sales service, how about the installation team, etc.
