Chicken Coop Cooling Water Curtain
The water curtain system provides a good environment in the house for the poultry farming industry in the perennial high temperature area, adding more options. The purpose of evaporative refrigeration in modern chicken houses is to combine steam cooling with air cooling to keep the flock in or close to a temperature comfort zone.
The premise of using a water curtain
1. The temperature of the outside environment is higher than the temperature required by the chicken coop, and the maximum wind speed adapted to the chicken flock is reached by increasing the ventilation volume, and the temperature of the chicken coop is still rising.
2. The humidity of the chicken coop is between 50-65.
3. It is still very hot when the flock has adapted to the current wind speed.
The above three conditions are indispensable, and blind opening of the water curtain and improper operation may cause adverse consequences.
How the water curtain works
1. Water curtain evaporation and cooling: The outside high temperature and low humidity air passes through the water curtain, and the water in the water curtain evaporates, absorbs air heat, and realizes the cooling process. 2. Water-cooled cooling: low temperature and high humidity air enters the chicken coop, absorbs the heat and more water from the chicken coop, discharges the chicken coop, and achieves the purpose of cooling.
Maintenance of water curtains
1. Check the integrity of the water curtain
If there is damage or serious blockage, it needs to be repaired and replaced in time.
3. Wrapped by water curtain
Every year before the cold season, longitudinal ventilation is no longer used, and plastic sheets are used to wrap the water curtain, which also plays a role in heat preservation.
4. Clean the reservoir
When the water curtain is not in use, the water in the reservoir should be drained, cleaned and ready for use in the next year.
5. Water curtain water supply and power supply system
Before the arrival of summer every year, it is necessary to test whether the supply system of the water curtain is normal, the waterway is not blocked, and the line is not damaged to ensure the normal operation during use.
1. Calculate the number of fans to open the water curtain, the purpose is to keep the temperature of the chicken coop from rising when you first use it, and remember that it cannot drop by more than 2 degrees.
2. Calculate the wind speed required to maintain the perceived temperature, the number of fans, and the negative pressure should not exceed 18, and the general standard is that the number of fans starting does not exceed 70% of the total number. The difference between cage chickens and net and ground breeding is the wind speed, and the maximum wind speed in the cage is 70% of the wind speed in the aisle.
3. Wet the water curtain with intermittent water, no more than 1/3 of the water each time you use it for the first time, and carry out the next cycle when the evaporation is complete. The water time control is completely wet from 1/3 to 1/2 ---, the adjustment sequence of the side window corresponds to 0--1/2-completely closed, and the angle of the water curtain panel is 45%--75%--100% to enter the longitudinal ventilation mode.
4. In the case of high temperature and high humidity, the chicken coop can be cooled by increasing the number of fans turned on and increasing the wind speed in the house.
5. The number of windshield curtains can be increased on the roof roof, and it is generally recommended to increase 1 windshield curtain every 7 frames to reduce the effective cross-sectional area in the house as a whole, so as to increase the wind speed in the house and reduce the temperature of the chicken group.
