Incubation equipment is a machine that uses the principle of biomimicry and automatic control to provide suitable conditions for the development of egg embryos to obtain a large number of high-quality chicks.
The characteristics of the incubator are: temperature, humidity and damper joint control, which reduces the fluctuation of the temperature field, and reasonable negative pressure air inlet and positive pressure exhaust mode, so that the air inlet forms negative pressure, which is both energy-saving and accurate temperature control.
First, the type of incubator
Incubators can be divided into two types: box incubators and roadway (room) incubators according to their different appearance and structure. Box incubators, also known as electric incubators, generally have a capacity of less than 20,000 eggs. Walkway incubators, also known as hatcheries, can be accessed by people and have a capacity of up to 100,000 eggs.
Second, the key points of the operation of the incubator
(1) First of all, the installed incubator should be cleaned and disinfected, and then the place with bearings should be filled with butter. Check whether there are debris in the machine, whether the moving parts are flexible, whether the external wiring is correct, whether the safety device is complete, whether the power supply voltage used is qualified, if the voltage is unstable, it is best to install a voltage regulator.
(2) The hatching room should be well ventilated, and the machine must be placed smoothly on a layer of brick-thick square wood or cement table to work.
(3) When turning on the machine, the general incoming line (voltage regulator) switch should be turned on first, and then the power switch should be turned on; Add the electric fan, the fan rotates, the heating indicator light is on, the heating tube works, and finally turn on the egg turning switch.
(4) After starting, you should observe whether the fan rotation is normal, whether the egg turning mechanism is working normally, whether the angle of flipping is appropriate, whether the control situation is good, and determine whether the machine is working normally after two days of start-up and commissioning, and then put in the eggs for incubation.
(5) When putting in the eggs, the egg turning switch must be turned off. Use the shaker to level the egg holder, and then turn on the egg turning switch, the egg turning mechanism runs to the set angle, returns to the working state, and when the hand turns the egg, be sure to shake the shaker in the direction indicated by the arrow.
(6) When the extruder is working, the operator should closely observe the temperature and humidity in the control room, and carefully carry out the operation procedures of turning eggs, cooling eggs, shining eggs and ventilating until the chicks are hatched safely.
