How To Use The Tractor In The Summer?

In summer, the temperature is high, and the tractor works in a high temperature environment, so special attention should be paid to the following problems.

1. Handle the "boiling pot" with caution When the cooling water is "boiling", it should be handled with caution, and the correct treatment method is: make the engine run at medium speed, open the radiator cover, release the hot gas, and then slowly add cold water after cooling. When opening the radiator cover, the operator should stand in an upwind position with his face not facing the water filler to avoid being scalded by the hot water vapor sprayed.
2. Keep the cooling system clean, and thoroughly descale and clean the cooling system before the arrival of summer, so that the water pipes of the pump and radiator are unblocked to ensure the normal circulation of cooling water. In addition, weeds and other materials that adhere to the surface of the radiator should be removed in time.
3. To prevent water leakage, the water leakage of the cooling system mostly occurs at the shaft sleeve of the water pump, and the water seal compression nut is tightened appropriately. If it is invalid, it means that the filler has failed and should be replaced in time. The filler can be wound with asbestos rope coated with graphite powder.
4. Pay attention to the tension of the belt, the fan belt is too loose, easy to slip, so that the speed of the fan and the pump decreases, and the wind power is insufficient; If the fan belt is too tight, the bearing load will be too high, which will increase wear and tear and increase power consumption. The general requirement is: when pressing with your thumb in the middle of the belt, the amount of belt sag is in the range of 10 mm - 15 mm. When it is too loose or too tight, it should be adjusted in time.
5. Correct use of temperature control device: automatic (such as thermostat) and manual (such as thermal insulation curtain and blinds). Some drivers think that the lower the water temperature in summer, the better, and often remove the thermostat. In doing so, the warm-up time of the engine will be greatly extended when the cold car starts, accelerating the wear and tear of parts. Therefore, the thermostat should not be removed in the summer. Insulated curtains and blinds are used to regulate the amount of air passing through the radiator. In summer, thermal curtains are generally not needed, and blinds should also be placed in a fully open position.

6. Correctly select oil with high temperature in summer, diesel fuel with high condensation point, and ensure the correctness of the advance angle of oil supply. In addition, special care should be taken to prevent oil leaks in the oil supply system, as oil leaks not only cause oil waste, but can also cause fires. In addition to diesel, lubricating oil and grease should also be selected according to the regulations for summer use. Some tractors have oil temperature reversing valves, and the reversing valves should be turned to the position where the oil leads to the oil radiator during seasonal maintenance.
7. Pay attention to the maintenance of the battery In summer, the water in the battery electrolyte is easy to evaporate, and special attention should be paid to the inspection of the battery liquid level. The normal liquid level should be 10 mm to 15 mm higher than the plate. The electrolyte density of the battery should be reduced according to the regulations. The ventilation hole on the lid of the liquid filling port should be dredged more. Batteries that are not in use should be stored in a cool and ventilated place.
8. The higher the temperature of the anti-fuel gas resistance, the faster the evaporation, and the easier it is to form gas resistance in the oil circuit. Therefore, the fuel filter should be cleaned in time in summer to keep the oil circuit unblocked; When driving, you can put a damp cloth on the fuel pump and spray water regularly to keep it moist and reduce the generation of air resistance. Once the fuel system produces air resistance, it should be stopped immediately to cool down, and the oil circuit should be filled with fuel with a hand oil pump.
9. Anti-engine deflagration The deflagration caused by overheating will increase the wear of the upper part of the cylinder by 3 times to 5 times. Therefore, it is necessary to completely remove the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and valve head; Check and adjust the oil supply volume and oil supply time to prevent deflagration.
