The use of the straw cutter is dangerous, and if it is used improperly, it is very easy to cause personal injury or damage to the machine. Farmers are reminded to pay attention to the following issues when using the straw cutter, and follow the order of the following articles and paragraphs.
1. Familiarize yourself with the instruction manual
Before use, you should be familiar with the instruction manual, keep in mind the safety precautions in the manual, master the installation, adjustment, operation and maintenance methods, and understand the scope of application and technical parameters such as supporting power and spindle speed.
2. Installation and adjustment requirements
1. The grass cutter should be placed or fixed on a solid and flat foundation. The workplace should be spacious and equipped with fire prevention measures.
2. Match the motor in strict accordance with the supporting power and speed specified in the manual. The power cord should be made of copper wires of not less than 6 square millimeters, and the current value of power switches, sockets, plugs and other electrical appliances should not be lower than the rated current calibrated by the motor (specific instructions should be followed). The power switch should be installed within the operator's range of activity, generally not more than 3 meters away from the operator, and there should be no other obstacles between them.
3. Try to use the pulley that comes with the cutter. It is not allowed to change the size of the pulley at will and increase the speed of the straw cutter.
4. Adjust the gap between each moving blade and the fixed knife, and the gap should be mastered to be able to pass through two sheets of printing paper and ensure that there is no friction between the moving and fixed knives. After adjustment, tighten the fastening bolts of each moving blade and fixed knife (if necessary, the method of lengthening the handle of the wrench should be used to increase the degree of tightening). After that, lock the case tightly and confirm that it is secure.
5. Before the motor is installed and the belt is hung, a short period of power is on, and the rotation direction of the motor (driving wheel) is the same as that of the specified cutter wheel (it is strictly forbidden to reverse the operation of the straw cutter), and then the belt is hung and adjusted to make it moderately tight.
6. Install belt guards, grass hoppers and other accessories. Add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to the gearbox, bearing, and other parts that need to be lubricated.
3. Preparation and inspection requirements before operation
Before each operation, the following preparations and inspections should be carried out in turn. After confirming that all the requirements are met, the grass can be carried out.
(1) Inject an appropriate amount of lubricating oil into each oil injection hole.
(2) Check whether the gap between the moving and fixed knives meets the requirements, and if the problem is found, it should be adjusted according to the regulations.
(3) Check whether there are cracks in the cutter wheel, blade, frame, etc., and replace the parts if the problem is found.
(4) Check whether the fasteners of the blade and other parts are tightened, and deal with the problem in time if it is found.
(5) Check whether the upper casing is locked and firm and reliable, and lock it in time if there is a problem.
(6) Turn on the power supply and run dry for 2~5 minutes, check whether the rotation direction of the straw cutter is the same as the specified direction (the upper casing is not allowed to be opened at this time), observe whether the whole machine runs smoothly, whether there is abnormal sound and vibration, and eliminate the problem after stopping the machine.
(7) Check whether the adjustment of the gear lever is flexible, whether the speed change is accurate and reliable, and eliminate the problem after stopping.
(8) Check whether there are metals, stones and other hard objects in the straw to be cut, if any, they should be removed.
4.The operation requirements
1. During the operation, it is strictly forbidden to remove the belt protective cover and the grass feeding bucket, and it is strictly forbidden to make and replace the grass feeding hopper with a safety protection size of less than 55 cm, and it is strictly forbidden to open the upper casing.
2. People who have not mastered the safety rules of the straw cutter are not allowed to work alone.
3. It is strictly forbidden for minors and people who are sick or overly tired to start the operation.
4. When feeding, both hands should be held on the second half of the straw, and the first half should be sent into the feeding port and the hands should be released in time. It is strictly forbidden to put your hands into the feeding opening.
5. Master the amount of feeding. The feeding amount should be uniform and not too much. When it is found that the speed of the straw cutter decreases, the sound becomes louder, or the discharge is uneven, and the throwing distance is significantly smaller, it means that the feeding amount is too much and should be reduced in time.
6. If there is an abnormality during operation, the power supply should be cut off immediately, and it is strictly forbidden to check and eliminate faults when the machine is running.
7. When stopping the grass operation, the grass machine should continue to run dry for 2~3 minutes to blow the materials in the machine. After stopping, adjust the gear lever to the "stop" position.
5. Maintenance requirements
1. The straw cutter should be stored in the warehouse as much as possible, and the open-air storage should pay attention to rainproof and moisture-proof to avoid rust.
2. When replacing the fastening bolts of the moving and fixed blades, high-strength bolts must be used, and ordinary fasteners must not be used.
3. The blades of moving and fixed blades should be kept sharp and sharpened frequently.
4. The bearing should be cleaned once every six months and filled with grease.
