What Is Hot-Dip Galvanized Material?

The process cost of hot-dip galvanizing is high, with a lifespan of approximately 12-15 years. All mesh sheets for hot-dip galvanizing are 7kg.
The characteristics of hot-dip galvanizing are thick coating, good corrosion resistance, and suitable for long-term use outdoors or in harsh environments.

Hot-dip galvanizing
Step 1: Pre-treatment, cleaning and pickling of the wire mesh to remove oil, rust and oxides on the surface.
Step 2: Immerse yourself in galvanizing, immerse the cleaned wire mesh in molten zinc, and at a high temperature of about 450 °C, the zinc will react with the surface of the wire mesh to form a layer of zinc-iron alloy.
Step 3: Cooling, after the mesh is removed from the zinc liquid, the mesh will be naturally cooled in the air, or accelerated by water cooling.
Step 4: Post-treatment, the cooled wire mesh will undergo some passivation treatment to further improve the corrosion resistance of the coating.
