Precautions for use

3. 1 Placement and commissioning

(1) The basic requirements of the working site of the thresher are that the ground is flat, the area is sufficient, and the specified power supply is provided. When the thresher is placed, it should be noted that its impurity outlet should be placed along the wind direction to avoid poor discharge, and effective fire prevention facilities should be set up around the site.

(2) The installation of the thresher should ensure that the four feet are stable, the equipment will not shake or vibrate obviously, and in the shutdown state, check the installation of the parts of the threshing machine, confirm that the key parts are fixed and reliable, the rotating parts are flexible, and make it clear whether the adjustment mechanism is properly adjusted, whether the safety facilities are complete and effective, and there are no tools or other sundries in the machine.

(3) Before the thresher is officially used, it is necessary to carry out trial operation and debugging again, check whether there are problems such as poor operation, stuck stagnation, abnormal noise, etc. of the drum and fan through the idling of the machine, and confirm that it is correct, and a small amount of corn can be added to check the threshing status.

(4) The operators of the threshing machine should do a good job of safety protection, the long-haired personnel should tie up their hair and wrap it in a hat, and all staff should wear masks and cover their arms and legs with clothes during the threshing process.

3. 2 Precautions for the implementation of threshing work

(1) When carrying out threshing operations, corn must be fed as required, and the feeding amount should not be too much, so as to avoid the occurrence of food waste or threshing machine failure due to unclean threshing or excessive load of threshing machine; The feeding amount should not be too low, so as to avoid insufficient operation efficiency and serious waste of resources; It is also necessary to avoid uneven feeding, that is, the amount of corn is more and sometimes less, which will not only lead to low work efficiency, but also affect the corn removal rate.

(2) When the threshing machine is working, it should ensure that the drum speed is within the specified range, under normal circumstances, the higher the threshing drum running speed, the higher the grain removal rate, and at the same time, it will also lead to an increase in the breakage rate; The lower the threshing drum running speed, the lower the breakage rate, but the lower the grain removal rate. In addition, the gap of the drum should also be adjusted to an appropriate range after comprehensive consideration of various factors such as the moisture content of corn.

(3) Pay attention to the rest and adjustment of the machine, under normal circumstances, the thresher should be stopped for trimming every 8 hours of work, check the lubrication and wear of the machine, and replace the parts that are found to be seriously worn or failed for other reasons.

(4) During the use of the threshing machine, pay close attention to the status of the machine, and stop the threshing operation immediately if it is found that the threshing machine is abnormal, and continue the threshing operation only after checking and eliminating the fault.

4 Maintenance precautions

(1) After the threshing work is completed, the corn and other sundries remaining inside the machine should be removed in time, check whether there are parts loose due to mechanical operation, adjust the tension of the transmission belt and chain in time, and clean and maintain them.

(2) Check whether the safety protection facilities of the thresher are complete and the installation is reliable, and if it is found that it is lost, it should be replenished in time, and the mechanical parts that are welded and damaged should be repaired in time, and anti-rust treatment should be carried out if necessary.

(3) When the thresher is to be stored for a long time, the thresher should be placed in a dry warehouse or factory shed, and the body should be properly padded with sleepers and properly covered, so as to avoid the aging and corrosion of parts caused by moisture and exposure to the machine.
